Thank you to everyone who attended to celebrate Phillip's life at the services in Salem Chapel and Trane Cemetery, and afterwards at the Miskin Manor. It is testament to Phillip that so many people paid their respects - well over 260 people attended. And a big thanks for wearing red and singing your hearts out to create the football and rugby match atmosphere that Phillip wanted. It was particularly moving to see the high attendance of work colleagues, friends and vans(!) from BT. They attended from South West Wales, the Rhondda Valleys, South East Wales and South East England. It was a fitting tribute to 'Phil' because he missed work dreadfully over his last 4 months, especially his team of engineers in Newport. A special thanks to my fabulous scouse mate who transported the wreath I wanted from Liverpool (I promise to stop thanking you now!). Thank you to everyone for your generosity with regard to the numerous donations made for Cancer Research UK.
