Benjamin was born in the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport at 6.42pm weighing 8lb 10oz. The morning after I found out I was pregnant Phillip rushed out to buy another pregnancy test, just to be sure, along with a magnum of champagne. Phillip was so happy and proud when Benjamin came along. He was the first person to hold Benjamin and adored him from that moment on. I have no doubt Benjamin’s birth became the happiest day of his life.
